1962

FFO Inc. Founded

The Fuzzy Few Organization (FFO Inc.), based in Hummelstown, PA, was established in 1962 during the borough’s bicentennial celebration as a “Bearded Brothers Club”.

  • Origin: A “Bearded Brothers” club where members needed a bicentennial permit to not shave.
  • Foundation: After the celebrations, members formalized the group to support the community.
  • Name: Inspired by the original beard-growing contests and founding members.

FFO Inc. later registered its emblem on December 29, 1963 and continued growing its community mission.


1970s

First Annual Festival

The tradition of the Fuzzy Few Festival begins, bringing families together for fun, food, and fundraising.


1990s

Youth Program Support

FFO Inc. expands its mission to include support for youth sports and educational initiatives in Hummelstown.


2010

Community Growth
